chuthis. company members Jenni Berthelot and Jillian Meyers traveled to San José, Costa Rica this month to hold a chuthis. moves workshop with Danz Studio CR! Jillian shared her ‘groovy grooves’ with the students, as well as chuthis. repertoire. ‘Groovy grooves’ is a class that emphasizes isolation, coordination, groove, and fun, and how a dancer can combine and utilize these ideas. Jenni taught modern dance technique and chuthis. ideas, an improvisation-based class. We are grateful to Eileen Ramirez, the director of Danz Studio, for hosting us and bringing us to this beautiful country to educate dancers!
